Cancer Research UK Cambridge Centre

Project in brief:

We created a completely new website (and content management system) for the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Centre, doing much of the development in-house, and managing sub-contractors. The site was implemented in Drupal 7. We migrated hundreds of researcher accounts from a legacy site. New features are being added on an ongoing basis.

Client comments:

At the Cambridge Cancer Centre, none of us had ever been involved with creating a website. David (from DC Systems) handled it all for us – helping us clarify our requirements, building prototypes, and providing extra software developers and content keyers when it became clear we would need more resources to launch on time. David also set up server hosting for the live site, and trained us as Drupal webmasters. The site went live on time, showcasing Cambridge cancer research (and our new branding) to the world. We are already working with David on exciting new features to be added soon.” – Simon Oberst, Director of Development at Cambridge Cancer Centre
