The MG Owners’ Club

Project in brief: 

DC Systems were commissioned to build, a completely new site for the MG Owner’s Club – the worlds’ largest single-marque car club. The Club wanted us to migrate 25,000+ users and their content from a legacy system, and to train the Club staff in Drupal development and administration.

The site went live on schedule. DC Systems have added several new features since then, and we handle Drupal security updates for the Club as required.

We engaged the services of David (at DC Systems) to create a brand new website and forum in collaboration with our own in-house IT Manager, who would carry out some tasks through the Drupal platform, and our appointed IT consultant who was to oversee the whole project.

David happily interfaced with them and the areas of responsibility were soon mapped out and a firm plan and timeframe put in place. The aim was for us to have complete control over content and input into the design and functionality.

With David’s professional skills and commitment we launched the new website on time and to budget with the changeover from old to new going without a hitch.

Since the launch we have received very positive feedback from our Membership with “bright”, “fresh”, “intuitive”, “impressive” and “easy to use” just some of the comments received. We now have a website that meets our needs and is capable of further development to meet our future aspirations.
