CPL

Project in brief:

Cambridge Publishers Ltd (CPL) were asked by Darley Stud Management, HH Sheikh Mohammed’s global horse breeding operation, to create a new family of websites for their stables around the world. CPL decided to use Drupal, as it could support the requirement to host a family of 4 websites driven by a single CMS. However CPL had no in-house Drupal experience; when DC Systems got in touch and offered to implement the CMS and the new sites, CPL were very pleased to bring us into the project. The site, http://darleyeurope.com/ and its sister sites in the USA, Australia and Japan, went live on schedule.

Besides installing and customizing Drupal, we also used PHP, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, MySQL and Git, on CentOS Linux and Windows.

Client comments:

“We hired David to work as a Technical Lead on our biggest digital project to date in April 2011. He came recommended from our sister company Europa Science and he did not disappoint. Working initially for 3 days/week, then full-time for some weeks before go-live, David helped us build a new website and content-management system based on Drupal 7, with customisation in jQuery and PHP. The site went live on time and our client is already talking about the next round of features to add.”
